Checking in from Austria…
Austria is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. We are staying right on a lake surrounded by tons of trees… it’s pretty sweet….I find myself ordering weiner schnitzel a lot, just so I can say weiner schnitzel or ‘schintz’…I know, mature…I also am determined to learn how to pronounce Pörtschach before we leave Pörtschach …right now, I’m not even close to figuring that one out.you probably heard that Mark Philippoussis is going to be the new bachelor on a reality dating show….Flip is a great guy, we’ve gotten to become good friends over the years…that said, I can’t wait to watch it…out of sheer curiously…and I may point and laugh at times…
The tv show Studio Sixty got cancelled…pissed off about that..I thought it was pretty good…I just downloaded a bunch of episodes of My Name is Earl…my friends like it, curious to see what I think…in case you haven’t figured it out, I’m about three years behind in tv…
I got a lot of questions in a post match interview about Federer beating Nadal…what…Rafa can’t win 90 matches in a row…common now…haha…he was probably distracted when he saw his arms on my body…at least it’s only on newsstands for a limited time…
Does anybody else laugh every time they watch the Geico caveman commercials or is it just me…
It’s been brought to my attention that Doug has a growing fan club on the message boards…let’s try to get a hold of that one…we need his head to fit through the door…haha
And the fines…
Butthead – it is never funny when someone breaks their arm…..but playing kickball Is probably the funniest way you can break your arm…my best friend Stu managed to do that…he is getting married this summer, and without fail, every time I tell a girl what happened, their first reaction is “will he have a cast on for the wedding?”….as if you can’t get married with a cast on…does that prevent you from walking down the aisle…as long as his fiancée Lauren wears a helmet on their wedding night it should be fine…
Self chuck - Any girl who goes to a tanning salon when it is sunny outside…really….wall!
Fine of the Week – I wanted to avoid anything related to Britney’s comeback tour, but once again I am more annoyed by the media and fans than her…how are people so shocked that she lip syncs…that is not breaking news…I thought it was common knowledge…I don’t think it is a stretch to say there are probably a lot of Milli Vanillis out there…get over it people!
Others that deserve mention…Ginger walked into a post..she has a pretty noticeable bump on her head…it’s impressive…it may be repetitive but if you are riding the gravy train (Cincinnati Bengals players), don’t get in fights with your girlfriends, don’t drive drunk, don’t do drugs, avoid strip clubs…in general, these are solid guidelines for everyone.
